In North County San Diego – in the community of Ramona - Liberty Healthcare operates two enhanced behavioral support homes. Up to four adults reside at each home. Each person is unique in so many ways, though in common they all have different intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Liberty Healthcare’s dedicated and talented clinical and direct care staff supports each person, helping them to live their best lives and remain healthy and as independently as possible.

The people Liberty serves require various levels of nursing, medical and psychiatric care – thus, nursing services are vital to our clinical program and every care.

To support our residents, Liberty Healthcare seeks to hire a Registered Nurse (or two) to provide onsite nursing assessment and direct care services within our homes. This role is very similar to that of a community-based home health nurse – with day to day responsibilities including:

  • Assessing residents’ acute and chronic health status
  • Administering medications and monitoring efficacy and side effects
  • Triaging and referring to health care providers as necessary
  • Educating and training residents and staff about symptoms, medications and general physical and mental health topics
  • Functioning as a member or the program's multidisciplinary team and actively participating in team meetings

As a new employee in this role you can expect a starting salary between $80,000 and $93,600.

Liberty takes into consideration relevant work experience, professional licensure status and credentials, work schedule / shift, and worksite location when determining a new hire’s specific starting salary.
