Relationship Banking Development Specialist Job at Central Bancompany
Responsible for handling special needs of new and existing clients. Serves as primary contact, identifies client needs, problems and goals to add value to the client relationship. Ensures customer services are provided, including opening accounts, providing clients with information, and resolving banking problems for clients, cross selling banking products and services, and other projects, tasks, and responsibilities. Must work to meet goals by promoting and cross selling a combination of financial products and services. Creates a teamwork environment to help ensure that quality service is provided. Conducts relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures and systems, the corporate code of conduct, Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
Provides top quality service with extensive knowledge to new and existing clients. Opens consumer and business products and services, identifies client's needs and cross-sells or refers other banking products following our sales models and processes. Manages relationship with clients to ensure financial needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Provides sound financial advice and counsel to clients and prospective clients. Presents alternative solutions for a variety of complex financial situations. Calls on existing clients to increase or retain relationships with current clients. Proactively engaged in daily sales and service activities. Develops a plan utilizing effective sales techniques that will add value to client relationships and sell additional products. Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the bank's services, operations, and organization; communicates this understanding to others when appropriate, and refers inquiries and correspondence to the proper department or individual. Actively participates in sales programs; attends sales meetings/training; works with Assistant Vice President to set goals and works to achieve targeted goals. Makes effective referrals to business units for traditional and non-traditional banking products and services. Willingness to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise. Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities. Sales and relationship building experience required. Background in bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations (state and federal). Thorough knowledge of bank products and services. Excellent verbal, listening and communication skills. Strong customer relations skills and ability to work with employees and clients in a cooperative manner. Demonstrates highest level of professionalism and customer service. Ability and desire to work as part of a team and with people of diverse backgrounds. Ability to identify client needs, present banking solutions and bank products. Ability to recognize closing opportunities and retain and grow client relationships. Ability to interact and work with all departments and areas of the bank is required for unified service and strong referral activity to meet the clients' needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must possess good judgment skills. Ability to make decisions, work independently, handle confidential information and manage multiple tasks.
