Job Title/Position: Remote Identity & Access Management Security Analyst - IAM Administrator

** NOTE: The ideal candidate will have knowledge of MFA solutions and experience supporting security projects and risk remediations.

Location: 100% Remote (anywhere in the US)

Job Summary:

The Security Operations Engineer Consultant I contributes to administrative and technical tasks supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), including security project support, risk remediation, and the development and administration of IGA systems and technical solutions to provide and maintain cybersecurity for the organization’s technology architecture and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completes tasks in support of Identity Lifecycle Management, including user account and access provisioning and deprovisioning for joiners, leavers, and movers
  • Develops, executes, and administers Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, platforms, tasks, and processes
  • Assists more-senior Information Security roles with reviewing and evaluating business technology needs, security, and systems requirements; performs development, integration, and programming tasks in support of cybersecurity applications, systems and solutions, according to defined specifications
  • Supports research, contributes to compiling data, and contributes to testing plans to identify and initially assess potential vulnerabilities and areas for exploitation in technology applications, systems, and solutions
  • Learns and becomes familiar with strategies for effective communication and successful interaction with technical peers

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Knowledge of MFA solutions
  • Experience supporting projects and risk remediations

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • IMI Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS), CompTia Security+, or other cybersecurity certifications

Functional Skills

  • Basic decision-making skills and ability to escalate when appropriate
  • Ability to establish and manage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Basic time and project management skills including ability to prioritize and organize
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Perform well in a face-paced environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to think conceptually, analytically, and creatively
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and apply it to problem resolution
