Repacker– 2nd and 3rd shift Job at Ross Stores
We are immediately looking to fill a high number of Repacker positions in our Fort Mill SC, facility. These positions are responsible for transferring totes both physically and systemically to cartons and then placing the cartons in pallets or pulling from overhead rails. The position does consist of lifting 50 lbs constantly throughout the shift.
You’ll be cross trained in another position as part of your regular job duties. You’ll also be eligible for Shift Differentials (up to $3/hour) and a production bonus that is very achievable. Basic Qualifications: ·
· Stand 100% of shift
· Ability to use a manual pallet jack
· You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. constantly and push this amount of weight onto pallets.
· RF Gun and/or Gladiator – Must be able to read, hear and understand voice commands in English or Spanish
· Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, squat, dump merchandise/cartons continuously
Hotel Repack associates ensure cartons are accurately accounted for prior to being stored in Hotel rack locations. In some cases, the merchandise is received by totes, in which case, these are scanned and dumped into Ross cartons and then processed like vendor cartons. Have the ability to transfer totes to cartons, cartons to pallets, and/or product from overhead induct rails to cartons. Must be able to build a Hotel pallet for put away using CP/BP criteria per best methods.
