SUMMARY: Under the direction of the IAS Supervisor, t he Reporting Analyst will evaluate and define information needs, report and analyze prerequisites and translate those into functional reporting requirements. The incumbent will coordinate and assist in data collection and activities involved in the retrieval, processing, dissemination and submission of data with occasional guidance; prepare data for reports, audits, meetings and other presentations; and understand business processes and express an attentiveness in going beyond the obvious, researching the source of a problem to develop analytical solutions. The incumbent will utilize knowledge and experience related to the various Arvest systems and available data sources to determine the most effective method of gathering the required data for the reporting request.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Analyze and research received requests for reports and queries. Collaborate with various business units and gather necessary requirements and specifications.

2. Extract required data from various databases and systems to build, maintain and distribute reports and queries. Interpret data, analyze results and resolve data conflicts and outstanding issues.

3. Create and maintain interactive dashboards to better display data gathered from various sources, while also meeting department standards.

4. Identify opportunities to modify processes to meet operational goals, including becoming more efficient, decreasing errors and minimizing risk exposure.

5. Develop new procedures to process, analyze, validate, and store data.

6. Assist Supervisor with miscellaneous projects as needed.

7. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant military or reporting experience or related field required;
  • 2 years of experience with SQL required;
  • 2 years of experience with data visualization tools required.
  • Microsoft Excel experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an environment using Agile/Scrum/XP principles; and
  • SQL, Power BI, Tableau experience
  • Data studio, BigQuery experience
  • Banking experience

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service

members.
