MFG is a growing mulit-concept restaurant group, currently with 4 restaurant concepts located Mishawaka, IN; Corndance Tavern, Bourbon & Butcher, Evil Czech Brewery and Jesús Latin Grill & Tequila Bar. Carnegie Library Special Events is our private event space seating up to 175 guests and is located in the upper level of Jesús. Multi-unit & mulit-concept management experience is a plus.

Job duties:

Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance.

Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.

Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of dining areas. Compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.

Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service.

Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms and appearance standards.

Work with Corporate office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.

Must be or get ServSafe certified and uphold all guidelines.

Ensure upbeat and positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.

Ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets.

Manage shifts and scheduling.

Provide positive direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.

Interview hourly employees, direct hiring, supervision, development and corrective actions.

Aloha POS knowledge a plus, motivate staff, polite manner, neat and clean appearance.

Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems without a stressful attitude.

Typical work week 50+ hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
