Restoration estimator position is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator looking for a change in career with an opportunity to be a team-player in one of the fastest-growing fire restoration companies in Northern California.

We're not your typical fire restoration company. Our estimators are not required to run the construction. Instead, a restoration estimator evaluates and estimates the costs, labor, and resources needed to rebuild any given loss back to its' pre-loss condition. The estimator is responsible for communicating with adjusters, clients and all in-house teams involved in the rebuild process from the start to completion of all assigned losses.

Restoration Estimator Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the profitability of all assigned projects from the initial loss inspection to the completion of the project.
• Communicate exceptionally well with adjusters and all parties involved in the rebuild of each loss.
• Is the liaison between adjusters and all in-house department on assigned projects.
• Write accurate and detailed scopes.
• Analyze carrier scopes for missing / innacurate items and write supplemental estimates.
• Negotiate all estimates, scopes and supplements with adjusters.
• Create project budgets for the project managers.
• Request and negotiate sub and material bids.
• Build and maintain relationships with adjusters, PA's, and vendors.
• Travel to all job sites.
• Work together with the estimator administrator.
• Report directly to the senior estimator.
• All other duties as assigned.

Restoration Estimator Requirements:

• Extensive knowlege of the restoration industry and regulations
• Writing accurate and detailed estimates & supplements in Xactimate.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to articulate the construction process to adjusters and clients.
• Great negotiation skills with adjusters and any/all parties involved during the scoping and estimating process.
• Well organized.
• Great computer skills.
• Great time and task management skills.
• Ability to travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
