Job Description
As the initial point of contact for guests, the Retail Associate is the face and voice of Rabbit Hole Distillery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet and serve all visitors with the intention to make personal connections, promote brand loyalty, and best represent Rabbit Hole Distillery’s culture for an optimal visitor experience
- Promote sales through product and merchandise knowledge, visual display and organization, and a high level of customer service and care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked retail area
- Possess and masterfully convey a full understanding of Rabbit Hole Distillery’s bourbon products and bourbon-making process
- Lead daily bourbon tastings. This includes special events at The Overlook Bar. Providing an optimal customer service experience for guests
- Assist visitors in their selection of merchandise and be an influential factor in their choice of bourbon
Skills & Requirements
- Strong organization, time management, and strategic planning skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect and build rapport with empathy and understanding
- Ability to be flexible, improvise, and adapt
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Knowledge of brand and distilling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., outlook, teams, excel)
- Knowledge of event scheduling software (e.g., AnyRoad)
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale software (e.g., Shopify)
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Education & Experience
- High school diploma, bachelors in relevant field (e.g., hospitality business, communications, marketing) preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
