Road Service/Equipment Technician Job at Whited Truck Center
Equipment Technician responsibilities include repairing, welding, fabricating & diagnosing new & used construction equipment.
- Working knowledge of equipment and mechanical systems (diesel engines, gasoline engines, transmissions, differentials, steering, hydraulic brakes, air brakes, etc.)
- Repair and maintain the machinery and equipment.
- Operate repaired machinery and equipment to verify repairs.
- Repair and /or replace damaged or worn parts.
- Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
- Provide assistance throughout the business as needed.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED diploma.
- Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate or Degree and three to six months related experience or training.
- Valid in-state Driver’s License required, CDL preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT guidelines.
- Certification in Hyundai components would be a plus.
- Diagnostic computer experience, preferred but will train.
