Roadside Brusher Operator Job at Madera Northwest
Madera Northwest is a forestry company that specializes in providing quality forest management and restoration services. We are currently seeking a Roadside Brusher Operator to join our team. The Roadside Brusher Operator will be responsible for operating a boom-mounted rotary mower on our New Holland and John Deere tractors for roadside brushing projects, primarily on forest roads.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a boom-mounted rotary mower on New Holland and John Deere tractors for roadside brushing projects
- Perform routine maintenance on tractors and hydraulic systems
- Travel to project sites with provided work truck and fuel card
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Experience operating tractors and working on hydraulic systems preferred
- CDL holders will receive increased starting pay
- Willingness to work in variable weather conditions and challenging terrain
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
