Job Summary:
The Shift Lead is responsible for leading the team in departmental initiatives driving toward customer success by demonstrating our core values of integrity, people, safety, servanthood, and results. Shift Leads delegate unloading assignments to freight handlers, complete administrative paperwork at the direction of the production manager for daily reporting, and expected to work the dock - performing their own unloading assignments. Leads make decisions, problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing warehouse environment.
This is a 3rd shift position in the freezer, Monday – Friday, starting at 7:00 PM at night and going until finished, typically 4:00 AM.

Demonstrate understanding of preventive measures to reduce freight and property damage.

Lift, carry, and move materials weighing 25 – 80 lbs.

Walking, standing, climbing, squatting, bending, lifting, and kneeling are all required physical aspects of the job.

Work in cold storage temperatures as low as -20 degrees while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.

The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.

Must pass a drug screen and consumer background checks.

$14.20 an hour or production pay (whichever is greater) and daily lead stipend
