Roller Operator and Laborer Job at Bennett Paving & Construction
Bennett Paving & Construction is seeking good working, honest people to earn high wages by joining their team in providing quality asphalt paving to our customers throughout the state of Utah. We currently are looking to fill a full time career position for Roller Operator and Laborer for asphalt paving. Applicant must be positive, willing to learn new things, and work hard, have a current drivers license and means of transportation to get to and from work sites. Experience preferred but is not required. We will patiently train the right person. Must be willing to work long hours including overtime, be punctual and dependable, be capable of lifting 50 pounds and work in the sun most of the day. Daily tasks include operating equipment, checking grade for drainage, and assisting foreman with placing and compacting asphalt material including shoveling and raking asphalt. Normal hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 to 5:00. Some Saturdays. Rate of pay will be based on experience ranging between $14-26 per hour plus time and half for overtime, paid weekly.
