Route Driver/ Independent Contractor/Sprinter Van Job at Marietta Courier
We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting tires, wheels, and other objects in and around the Atlanta area
We are looking for someone with a large van to run 2 routes a day out of a warehouse in Acworth. The driver would start every day at 6:30am and load the van with around 50 tires and have 10-15 stops and then go back to the warehouse for another afternoon route. The routes come out to average around 200-250 miles a day. Monday- Friday $250 a day $1,250 a week
The ideal candidate would be someone that owns a large van that lives in the Acworth or Buford area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Navigating to multiple stops to collect cargo
- Updating dispatcher and clients with route updates and ETA's
- Documentation of all items collected and delivered. With provied App
- Time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
Requirements:
-Reliable large van.
-Lift up to 80lbs and roll tires up to 300lbs
-Valid license.
-Knowledge of the Greater Atlanta area.
-Ability to provide high-level customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $1,250.00 per week
