Job Summary:

Grow business revenue and profitability with automotive OEM customers by managing good customer relationship.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management (Deliver customer’s information, solve customer’s problems, receive requests of information, deliver issues to related department, provide solutions, proposals, and obtain feedback)

Visit Customers; gather information incl. business opportunities, volumes, capacity, and financial status. Build strong relationship with customers

Collect 5-year business plan information from customer

Secure PO and release to internal departments; May include population of customers’ online quotation systems

Load Customer Portal

Customer Commercial Management (Develop pricing and commercial proposals and negotiate with customer. Be intimate with customer commercial requirements and develop proposals that meet customer requirements and create value for NBHX)

Commercial Savings Planning / Negotiation (contractual LTA, Resin, etc) - Current and Future year

Payment Terms Negotiation and transition plan

Identify, pursue, and realize commercial opportunities that improve NBHX financial performance.

Fulfill customer requirements to address pricing and commercial needs that include creation of customers’ price breakdown forms, tooling price breakdown forms, and various requests for information needed to support commercial issues and claims.

Negotiating of Engineering Changes

Prototype Part Quotation

ED&D Negotiation / Purchase Order Receipt

Customer Price Breakdown Form Development / Maintenance / History

Customer Commercial Open Issues (Purchasing, SCE, CIT, Tooling, Operations)

Account Receivables Issue Resolution (Customer Escalations)

Service Account Management (RFQ, supply chain, plant move, etc)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office or related software.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred (Business or Engineering)

5+ year relevant experience in customer interactions or program management (ideally in the interior parts segment) with Automotive OEMs
