Howmet Fastening Systems is seeking a Sales Administrator to solicit and maintain favorable contacts with current and potential Government offices. Manage quotes to DLA, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, GSA, Navy and Marine Corp. Manage LTA negotiations and current LTA’s with above agencies. Work with Government to update SAM, JCP, VSM, WAWF, DIBBS etc. This is an opportunity to grow your career at a large, international aerospace company. This position is located at the HFS aerospace distribution facility in Simi Valley, CA.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive quote and LTA and spot inquiries from Government agencies.
• Analyze Government data for previous awards to suppliers to quote accordingly.
• Negotiates prices with Government agencies as per HFS guidelines.
• Prepares LTA quote packages using HFS guidelines.
• Services Government agencies by independently handling inquires and problems, and when applicable, coordinating with other functions to quickly resolve them.
• Proactively advises Government of schedule changes as they occur. Investigates and responds to follow-up calls and when necessary, provides in writing reason for scheduling conflicts.
• Administers and reviews Government contracts (purchase orders) and LTAs regarding pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions.
• Negotiates with internal Howmet Fastening Systems product management and outside vendors to develop winning proposals to the assigned customer.
• Work with Government agencies using their programs such as DLA Internet Board System (DIBBS), System Award Management (SAM), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Vendor Shipping Module (VSM)
• Maintain internal files for LTAs, Modifications, Government LTA Contracts
• Provide support to Quality Department and all Howmet Fastening Systems US sites by registering QSLM/QSLD
• Work with Howmet Fastening Systems global credit department to investigate invoice issues as required.
• Assists in resolving customer problems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Provides input to the forecast management groups to help in the creation of appropriate production order runs.
• Assists with sales forecast for Government.
• Customer base may include non-Government agencies.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Knowledge in sales or customer related roles in aerospace fasteners or related industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word.

Benefits/Salary:

The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. The salary range for this position is $54,000 to $70,000.00 per year.
