Sales and Marketing Coordinator - Huntington Beach, CA

Compensation: $52,889 to $69,192 per year

Nexus HR is looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, for a reputable client in the Huntington Beach, CA area. The ideal Sales and Marketing Coordinator will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing, and exposure to Health Plans.

About the Job

Our Client is looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator for their team in Huntington Beach, CA. This position will plan and create marketing programs that effectively describe and promote our client's organizational goals.

Client-highlighted qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops sales and marketing plans and campaigns to promote and advertise the organization’s products and services through a variety of channels and activities.
• Ensure all marketing efforts are effective by working with sales staff and other departments.
• Establishing booths at local events by coordinating with local businesses, in order to generate admissions.
• Engaging in community involvement, such as attending community events, speaking at schools, or volunteering with non-profit organizations, to develop relationships with potential customers.
• Exploring business growth opportunities in various industries or regions by analyzing current market trends.
• Developing new products and services with vendors and partners through strategic relationships.
• Developing and implementing strategies to meet sales goals and increase brand awareness in target markets and explore new markets.
• Identifying new opportunities for business development through market research.
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers via email, phone, and in person.
• Arranging and coordinating client events, meetings, and appointments.
• Providing assistance in the preparation of pitches and presentations for prospective clients.
• Providing agendas and proposals for internal and external meetings as well as cost estimates and briefing papers.
• Creating and maintaining client databases and mailing lists.
• Maintaining a record of proposals submitted to management and providing feedback.
• Providing effective administrative support.
• Familiar with Medicare Health Plan Market Segment: Business Planning
• Experienced with market development, plan design, market launch and expansion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing.
• Experience with Health Plans is highly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work in Huntington Beach, CA
