What you Need/Basic Qualifications:
- Experienced veteran of material handling industry.
- Specific background in narrow aisle / very narrow aisle applications, equipment, power, and turnkey solutions.
- Proficient working knowledge of current material handling industry trends including Electric, IC, Specialty, Systems, and Energy Solutions.
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding performance goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to travel in Florida and Georgia market, as needed.
- Commitment to Excellence while interacting with internal and external customers.
- Ability to multi-task, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to master specific OEM electronic tools.
Education and Certification Needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, but combination of education and work experience in the Material Handling Industry will be considered.
- 10 years plus experience in material handling industry with specific background in narrow aisle equipment and systems strongly preferred
What you’ll Do:
- Create and implement annual business plan for sales of new Toyota and new Raymond Equipment.
- Achieve a target combined market share in CL 1 -5, towards the yearly goal of share.
- Lead specific focus on achieving a target market share in CL 1 -3 in FL&GA, towards a yearly share goal, through market awareness, prospect account focus, product training, and other effective means.
- Study Mastering the Complex Sale and lead our group in executing on the 4-D process.
- Develop and execute strategies and tactics to achieve results.
- Represent SSMH to the Toyota and Raymond dealer groups and partner towards mutually beneficial and long-term customer goals.
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the role and our enterprise.
- Hire and train staff as needed relevant to product, professionalism, and electronic systems and processes.
- Promote and reinforce our Group credo that a Total Solution = Equipment Solution + Service Solution + Power Solution + Financial Solution.
- Promote turnkey solutions involving all SSMH equipment including New, Used, Specialty, Energy, and Systems.
- Assist team in developing creative and tailored client proposals, which help clarify in financial terms the customer’s current situation vs an enhanced future condition impacted by our Total Value Solution.
- Lead change, bring new, original, and creative ideas to our group and Enterprise.
- Focus on safety – work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Contribute positively to the SSMH culture of People Helping People.
- Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
- Travel up to 50% Regionally.
