General Summary of Position:
The Sales Liaison Team works with the Sales, under the direction of Client Services Management, to assist with getting newly closed deals/won opportunities provisioned and actively billing as soon as possible.
So, as with the existing team, this additional Rep will work closely with branch Sales Leaders and their Sales Teams (including their new hire Sales Reps) to assist with training, follow up/tracking and escalations on new deals, as well as projects, etc. This support involves working cross functionally with Provisioning, Offer Management, PMO and Client Services Account Managers, etc. in addition to the ability to work on escalations with upper management.
This Sales Liaison Rep will primarily support the Quincy branch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Involvement in post-sale, closed/won deals and inquires, across all service products.
- Work directly with the Sales department and operational support teams to track and manage newly closed/won deals and ensure quick conversion and billing completion of those deals.
- Work cross functionally with various departments, including: Sales, Client Services, Service Delivery (PMO & Provisioning), Offer Management, etc.
- Help get deals provisioned properly and as quickly as possible; leading communication with Provisioning or any operational support team as needed to accomplish this effectively.
- Work effectively with internal upper management and subject matter experts to update the team on deals and escalate requests as necessary.
- Maintain details and quality results, by using various templates applicable to the request, following company and team protocols.
- Ability to work on multiple requests simultaneously, while answering daily inquiries and escalations from various parties.
- Have an excellent understanding of all Granite product offerings and teams in order to help push quick and accurate results.
- Able to take ownership of requests and seeing requests through to completion.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-3+ years of experience at Granite; internal candidates with operational experience.
- Experience with internal Granite systems and processes: WOM, Cornerstone, NEW VIP, Billing, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills; strong coordination and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
- Project management skill set.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly sales-oriented with a desire to be part of the success of the Sales department.
- Enjoys helping other and can drive requests independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects.
- Quality-oriented and desire to maintain high standards of accuracy and information integrity is a must.
- Able to take the initiative and look for opportunities to help and be of service to the Sales teams.
- Able to help teach and guide new sales reps through the process of getting deals provisioned and billed.
- Ability to learn new IT systems required and experience with Salesforce.com is a plus, but not required.
