We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Manager with exceptional leadership skills to drive sales activities for our industrial safety products in Illinois.
The role is predominantly remote or on the road visiting local clients, with occasional visits to our Addison, IL office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of five sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to penetrate the industrial market and expand our customer base.
- Identify new business opportunities with current clients.
- Assist with building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead in the industry.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance evaluations to the executive team.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance the team's selling skills and product knowledge.
- Travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within designated geographic region with your sales representatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, industrial engineering or relatable degree preferred.
- Must have relevant experience selling products within an industrial market.
- Proven track record of successful sales management in the industrial industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the industrial market and its trends.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market research to drive informed business decisions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $155,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
