Surestay Plus by Best Western is looking for a part time Sales Representative/Manager.
Your primarily responsibility will be to source new business for the hotel including corporate and leisure accounts. This includes but is not limited to booking groups for business or leisure stays, meeting rooms and banquets. You will be responsible for responding to incoming calls for bookings and proactively reaching out to prospects to source new business. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordination and guest satisfaction related to group stays or meetings when they occur at the hotel. This position will be required to learn front desk functions AND work a front desk shift.
You must have excellent people and sales skills, be able to work well with the front desk and other hotel staff. Phone and computer skills including usage of MS Word, Excel and the ability to use the property management system are essential, If you enjoy working with the public, are creative, active, reliable, and like a fast-paced environment, this may be the opportunity for you!
Position is paid hourly and depends upon experience. Compensation includes discounts for friends and family at most Best Westerns nationwide.
