6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Summary:

This position will clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in the Culinary Center, while working independently to accomplish set cleaning schedules. This position will operate a steam machine, dishwasher equipment and other related equipment, and will act as a backup to other Culinary cleaning positions. There are excellent advancement opportunities for a motivated candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains the cleaning equipment: steamer, Ecolab dispensers, and dishwasher.
• Works independently while maintaining set schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Maintains all cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Cleans all equipment and work areas in the Culinary Center including: cooking equipment, tables, sinks, carts, walls, floors, coolers, and freezers
• Cleans and sanitizes some non-kitchen areas in the Culinary Center
• Documents all tasks when completed
• Reports any concerns to management
• Conforms to all HACCP, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice Procedures
• Completes cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned and per schedule
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

• Must be able to work independently and in a team depending on task assigned
• Must be able to work in multiple temperatures: (Coolers: 35°F to 40°F / Freezers: -10°F to 0°F)
