Onin Staffing is looking to identify a SCALE HOUSE CLERK for one of our top clients in Murfreesboro, TN. The Scale House Clerk acts as a customer's initial point of contact when dropping off waste at a waste management facility; calculates payments, verifies loads, and assures customer and staff safety by adhering to safety guidelines.
Here’s what you should know:
- Shifts available: 1st shift
- Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm
- Days: Monday-Friday
- Salary: $15.00 an hour (Opportunity for raise within first 90 days)
- Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor inbound/outbound truck activity.
- Acquire and monitor accurate truck weights.
- Communicate with various departments any scale operational issues
- Keep accurate records of all tickets, manifests and supplies.
- Enter truck information into computer systems.
- Weigh trucks in and out.
- Ensure Drivers are in compliance with DEP Regulations/Safety Rules
- Providing general upkeep of the Scale House.
- Answer the telephone and provide information to the public regarding hours of operation
Work Experience
Requirements:
- Related experience in a waste management / trucking industry.
- Good communication skills with Customers and Associates
- Must be accurate and detail oriented.
