We are seeking outstanding Scheduling / Medical Record Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary:
The Scheduling / Medical Record Coordinator reports to the Sr. Manager of Operations and is responsible for managing multi-line, high volume calls, accurately review medical records and schedule patients for multiple surgeons. In addition, building relationships with referring practices will be an essential role while also verifying patient insurance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepares, maintains, and monitors schedule for multiple providers.
  • Resolves scheduling conflicts by filling canceling and rescheduling appointments to assure schedules are full.
  • Produces and process schedules and reports as they are requested by administrative staff.
  • Exercising or carrying out a variety of admin duties and responsibilities as required
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all information held on the scheduling system and related intranet applications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent.
  • Previous administrative and/or scheduling experience (preferable in the medical or dental field).
  • Proven track record of growth or improvement within your position.
  • Experienced with customer service techniques.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have computer skills; be proficient with Microsoft office software.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ of previous experience in dental front office and direct customer service
