Seasonal Bike Sales Guide Job at Peak Sports
Summary
We're looking for a sales guide to join our bike team this summer season. Depending on schedule availability and needs, this could be anywhere from 24 to 40 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for a student, with onboarding and training occurring in April & May, and the seasonal employment period beginning June 18th and ending September 3rd.
Peak Sports has been part of the Corvallis community for over 50 years! Located downtown, we have a bike shop, outdoor store, and used gear store. In addition to retail and consignment sales, we also offer bike and ski service, rentals, guided rides, and clinics. We're a group of hard-working and adventurous individuals that value a positive and supportive workplace, hospitality, and our shop dogs.

Duties
- Greet guests and utilize the sales process to understand a guest's needs and ascertain the right combination of products and services
- Provide an exceptionally friendly and hospitable environment
- Opening and closing duties
- Stay up to date with product knowledge
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Requirements
- Loves riding and talking about bikes
- Able to work weekends
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced team environment
- Ability to stay focused and productive during down time
