Bethpage Federal Credit Union mandates all new hires to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Responsibilities Include:

Selling mortgages, recommending pricing guidelines for products, and maintaining good relationships with established investors; responsible for hedging interest rate and fall out risk of Mortgage pipeline, reducing exposure for loss; makes recommendations and proposals for strategies to ALM Committee.

Manage the production pipeline and provide the management of forward commitment options on a daily basis. Execute timely sale of loans to maximize gain on sale, ensuring that all investor requirements are met and loans sold are delivered and shipped to investors within expected time frames

Monitor and select loans for sale from the existing portfolio in conjunction with asset liability management. In conjunction with asset and liability management and Product Management, research, develop, and recommend portfolio products and establish pricing guidelines. Analyze and recommend new risk and hedging tools.

Coordinate with the Real Estate Lending Operations, Retail Sales & Operations and Product Management to train staff on new products, underwriting guidelines, loan policy changes, and servicing requirements. Ensure that written procedures are documented for all functions within area of responsibility, and update as necessary.

Ad hoc reporting and data requests, Daily data queries to ensure loan data integrity as well as monitor trends and provide recommendations

Creating change requests to update pricing in the LOS and testing in UAT.

Manage monthly/quarterly and annual investor certifications as well audit requests.

Assist in finding new investors for the sale/purchase of existing as well as new mortgage products.



Experience

Required
  • Advanced Excel Skills SQL/Power BI or other query knowledge a plus Knowledge of Mortgage capital markets and products (GSE, Jumbo, Non QM) Excellent communications, both verbal & written Attention to detail Automation Skills Ability to find potential new investors
