ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
Systems Experience with Salesforce Remedyforce, Everbridge Safety Connection & Visual Command Center (Essential), Lenel OnGuard, Genetec Security Center, Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite (Essential).
Leadership experience including account management and Command Center Operations (Essential), excellent communications skills, development and training of security team such as officers and command center operators as well as e xposure to Global Security Operations, including threat intelligence monitoring, escalation and management.

- Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
- Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
- Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
- In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
- Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
- Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
- As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, carries out supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and, making hiring and termination recommendations.
- Knowledge of post orders, company & client handbook, and all company policies & procedures.
- Answering routine calls, monitoring alarms and video equipment including door alarms and provides general assistance to both employees and guests.
- Proactively monitoring surveillance cameras and access control systems, responding to all security and safety system alarms.
- Compiling incident evidence via access control and CCTV, for both internal purposes and externally for law enforcement.
- Responding to and processing tickets for requests such as access control reporting, badge printing, badge activations etc.
- Performing proactive security systems checks and reporting subsequent system faults to external vendors.
- Performing security systems audits for internal and external compliance purposes.
- Accurately maintaining control of all equipment and keys in the PSOC. Accurately logs all equipment and keys signed out and returned by security or other parties.
- Provide timely, relevant, accurate and well-written information to global security management.
- Conduct research to identify threats to people and assets, maintaining awareness of regional political, economic, and security developments.
- Compile security management reporting on a weekly basis and ensure it is distributed in a timely manner. Significant updates are to be provided when requested.
- Undertake comprehensive handovers with fellow operators. These are to be both written and verbal and are to be available for management review if required.
- Expediently escalate critical event information to Shift Supervisor and Security Management.
- Actively engage with global security teams. They will be primarily responsible for notifications of instances that may affect their offices and provide relevant updates, as required.
- During incidents, the operator is to proactively engage with security management. They are to assist in researching and providing situational updates and are to gather specific critical information as directed (office population, traveler numbers etc.).
- At no time during an event where the news media is on site, are the security personnel to discuss the event with anyone other than the security team, client's management team or SCIS management team.
