Description:

The Fire Works Delivery Engineers are responsible for providing NGFW Security Consulting Services to our clients customers. Engineers are expected to provide technical assistance to customers by assessing, reviewing, planning, upgrading, and supporting their Firepower/Secure Firewall software upgrades. You are also expected to provide project management and customer relations skills in managing overall project goals and timelines, while being responsive to customer requirements, problems, escalations, and overall sentiment.

Applications must demonstrate the ability to deliver on the following responsibilities:

LevelUp+ Services Delivery:

• Technical health assessments of a Firepower/Secure Firewall deployment (FMC and FTD), with a strong understanding of system monitoring, health metrics, and expected performance baselines
• Design, document, validate, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower/Secure Firewall Solutions
• Provide on-going customer support services to help the customer to continuously realize the value from the deployed solution.
• Evaluate and present alternative actions or paths, effectively influencing outcomes
• Troubleshoot, identify the root cause, and help to recover customers from technical issues
• Participate and support collaboration within the security practice and cross-functionally with other teams

Required Skills:

This is a technical role, requiring a minimum of 2-3 years working experience in IT Security, IT Consulting, and systems integration working with large Enterprise entities.

Requirements include:

• Experience as a subject matter expert in Cisco Firepower/Secure Firewall
• Experience with preparing, planning, designing, implementing, optimizing, automating, and operating network firewall security solutions
• Experience with a wide range of infrastructure technologies, such as routing and switching and wireless
• Detailed understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with customer technical staff and management
• Desired certifications: CCNP Security, CCIE Security and relevant industry certifications (CISSP, SANS GIAC, NSA IAM).
