Security Guard Job at Sc2
SC2 has multiple openings, during both day and night shift, for people looking to maintain a safe environment at our facility in Milan, IL
We are interested in candidates who can add an additional layer of security that assists facility management to ensure that we continue to offer a safe, secure, and productive environment for our employees.
The ideal candidate is someone who desires an active job where they can use their communication skills to help support a positive and productive work environment.
This role will not be allowed to carry a firearm.
Shift Times and Starting Pay:
- 1st Shift 6:30am - 3pm
- $16/hr
- 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
- $17/hr
Responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
- Assists facility management with de-escalation of disputes involving employees
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours.
- This is not a sit-down job
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent sense of judgment
- Can always stay alert
