This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
  • Administering subcontract efforts of suppliers across the Mission Solutions portfolio.
  • Working with the members of the LM Subcontractor Management Team (SPM & various SMEs), administering the subcontract through all phases of the procurement process, from contract award to contract closeout
  • Ensuring that the program performance, quality, and mission success requirements are flowed to the supplier and that the supplier is managed to ensure commitments and requirements are met
  • Ensuring compliance with all appropriate prime contract flow downs and will be responsible for new business requirements, to include RFP's to assigned supplier, technical evaluations, and basis of estimate requirements through negotiations and definitization of the subcontractor
  • Oversees the negotiation and coordination of additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • 4+ years of professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, including Subcontract Administration, Proposal Support, and/or Subcontract Management.
  • You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET /SCI clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters's degree.
  • Experience working with SAP or equivalent ERP Software.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring matters/issues to successful closure.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Experience in administering multiple contract types.
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
  • Business acumen, attention to contractual detail, and ability to make business-based decisions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
  • Experience in negotiating favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $67,200 - $128,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
