We are actively recruiting Senior Assurance Associates to help us continue to grow and provide the excellent client service that we are known for. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred concentration in Business Administration or Accounting, from an accredited college or university.
- CPA or CPA candidates are preferred.
- Minimum 2-4years of audit & accounting experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP and GAAS.
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
- Strong technology skills and proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office. Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement and Caseware are a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills.
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills.
- Ability to lead, prioritize, thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ability to focus on complex tasks, understand the Firm’s comprehensive compliance process and persevere to bring work to completion for review.
- Performs accounting and/or auditing procedures in accordance with Firm standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner.
- Takes responsibility for service quality, thoroughness and accuracy; proactively works with client and in-charge to gather data and follow-up on open items.
- Prepares routine correspondence to client for approval and signature of a partner.
- Recognizes resource/team capabilities (background, experience, strengths and weaknesses), aligns the right talent to the work, delegates work effectively and holds team accountable for deliverables.
- Performs the broadest range of accountant tasks so that direct participation of supervisors, managers, or partners is kept to a minimum.
- Assesses problems and issues in regards to materiality and interprets the implications for the client; understands client’s tolerance for risk.
- Stays current on regulatory and industry issues and shares applicable information with others.
- Consistently takes on work outside of “comfort zone,” asks for stretch assignments to develop.
- Prepares more complex projections, provisions and returns with accuracy and according to Firm policies and procedures.
- Dedicates time to coaching others in software knowledge, business process, research skills/resources, technical expertise, planning and project management.
- Engages, motivates and provides timely feedback to team members.
- Builds relationships across lines of business to ensure client service excellence through an integrated service approach.
- Identifies and develops alternatives for issues and consults with engagement team.
- Works extended hours as needed during peak busy periods or as needed to meet deadlines as well as partner and client expectations.
