An Aging Care Manager 2 in this position will be the agency's first point of contact with a consumer and their family. Their primary assignment will be a telephone intake worker. The employee will need to have the ability to articulate orally and in writing the AAA service eligibility requirements and to interpret the same to the consumers and others they come in contact with. This employee must handle the incoming calls and obtain information from individuals requesting services so that the case can be prioritized and assigned. They will also need to maintain the knowledge of availability of community support services for the benefit of older and disabled adults and maintain a current listing of these services.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as an Aging Care Manager 1 or a County Caseworker 1; or
- Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; or
- Six months of professional human services or nursing experience; and a bachelor's degree in social sciences, human services, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination or experience and training.
