DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Part-time Clerk 2 will be reviewing computer related input, throughput, and output for completeness and accuracy. They will be responsible for a variety of data entry tasks in support of agency programs and activities including client-tracking information.
This individual will need to review original data and resolve data errors, batches input, and prepare information for data entry. They will be assisting with the production of routine and exception reports using report- generation and standard software.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Part-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerk 1 and educational development to the level of the eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum; or
  • Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges and abilities.

  • Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Schuylkill, Sullivan and Wyoming counties. counties.
