The NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC), Division of Human Resources and Staff Development (HRSD), is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (Personnel). Under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner of HRSD, along with Director of Personnel, and working closely with the Deputy Director of Personnel, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing DDC’s vacancies. This includes, assisting with DDC’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) monthly hiring plan by gathering and compiling new division vacancy requests and staff changes, entering the data in a shared file with DDC’s OMB taskforce, updating and maintaining Personnel’s Master Vacancy Tracker, and updating DDC’s internal Human Resources Information System. The selected candidate will also coordinate the flow of information between the Personnel, Data Management, the Employee Recruitment and Retention Units, and the Commissioner’s Office by providing bi-weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that accurately portray the status of all vacant positions, filled positions/new hires, Division updates, and OMB approvals. The selected candidate will work closely with the Assistant Commissioner and the Director of Personnel to coordinate the agency-wide Fiscal Year e-Performance employee reviews. The Senior Data Analyst (Personnel) will also be assigned special projects as needed.
Minimum Qual Requirements
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.

Preferred Skills
Candidate must have strong verbal, written, analytical, tracking, and customer service skills. Preference will be given to candidates who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and exercise confidentiality. Experience with NYC Personnel Policies and Procedures are strongly preferred, as well as experience with NYC personnel systems; PMS, NYCAPS, CHRMS, and PRISE. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
