ITSD-DMH's Integrations team is looking for a Senior Data Specialist. In this position, you will join a team of data integration experts. You will interact with and support ITSD and DMH leadership in achieving the overall strategy of data sharing and integration between DMH and its external partners. You will also design and develop data integration patterns for internal communication with applications and data warehouses. You will become a valued member of a well-organized, Agile-minded team thriving in a positive environment. You will have the chance to deliver a meaningful impact supporting DMH and the citizens of Missouri.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Mental Health (DMH).

What you’ll do:

• Assist with analysis, design, development, code review, testing, and implementation of projects.
• Direct interaction and advisement of DMH Business owners and other team members.
• Work with leadership to create and enforce technical standards.

All you need for success:

• Full understanding of data integration software and development required.
• Experience using SQL servers is required.
• Knowledge of EDI X12, HIPPA, HL7 and/or FHIR standards is preferred.
• Experience with Azure cloud data migration strategies preferred.
• Familiar with Agile development methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
