Senior Demand Analyst Job at Denso
Job Summary
Under moderate direction, manages product life cycle data to support the business unit assigned. Maintains market data by product and participates in forecasting activities to support product expansion and sales planning. Acts as a resource to less experienced professionals. Operates at a level of proficiency that allows autonomous work.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Manage and maintain market demand data by product and support relevant departments with the data.
2. Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on a variety of sources and then makes recommendations on business reviews, marketing plans and sales fundamentals.
3. Maintains and reports product demand trends in the market for the assigned business unit.
4. Manage and support related departments with regards to Product Life Cycle data, new product development, product line expansion and PLC analysis
5. Builds / develops market demand recommendation tools and reports that strengthen customer value and ensure profitable execution.
6. May works with Data Scientist to build market demand data sets and analyze large amounts of raw information to find patterns and produce fact-based data insights to help drive sales, profitability and customer relationships
7. Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company and industry demand data to drive business solutions
8. Responsible for acquiring market information with respect to Market demand by product and establishing a centralized location. Support all related departments in Demand Planning and Sales Planning purposes.
9. Coordinates with the Supply Chain Management group with regards to market-based demand forecasting and PSI management and coordination
Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of Category Management procedures and terms
Excellent written and oral communication skills and good presentation skills
Advanced level of experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Expert level Excel with experience using tools such as VLOOKUP, Index Match, Advanced conditional formatting, Pivot
Tables/charts and reporting, Macros and VBA, and Data simulations
Analytical skills to interpret potentially conflicting data
Experience in data mining / advanced data analytics
Experience using Business Intelligence platforms (Tableau, DOMO, Qliksense, etc)
Experience with deployment of advanced ERP (SAP, QAD, Oracle, etc) systems preferred
Knowledge and experience with syndicated data, customer card/POS data, and panel data and their application (ie. IMR, NPD, IHS, EPICOR, AutoCare, etc)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong customer service skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Category management, Statistics, Math, Computer Science or related field required. 0-3 years' experience required.

Annual Salary: $61,400-$77,000
