Reports to: Director, IT Operations
Location: Remote-based out of the United States or based in a Terex office location (flexible working arrangements are available)!

Position Overview

Terex offers financial products and services to assist in the acquisition of Terex equipment through Terex Financial Services.
The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Terex Business and the IT organization to provide technical and data analytical solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both information technology and business administration for the role of IT Business Analyst. IT business analysts are responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising between the IT department and the Terex segments.
- Acting as an information source and communicator between business segments.
- Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth.
- Develop and maintain a robust IT Vendor relationship management framework including key responsibilities, meeting cadence, expectations from Vendors.
- Provide financial analysis support for financial negotiations of contracts
- Develop goals and metrics for measuring and managing supplier performance
- Analyze vendor risk and help to create third party contingency plans
- Utilizing IT data for business insights.
- Analyzing business needs.
- Sourcing and evaluating new business technology.
- Finding technological solutions to business requirements.
- Producing reports for IT and supplier analytics.
- Analyzing data to drive business decisions.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor of Arts in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or similar degree
- 5 years of IT vendor management experience
- Prior experience in business systems analytics, or similar
- Highly skilled in MS Excel, MS Access
- Understanding of data mining, SQL and code
- Analytical mindset
- Attention to detail, action and results oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Apptio, OneStream, and Oracle R12
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation and listening skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with people from many different cultures and disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience over geographically dispersed locations
- Willingness to take ownership of issues and ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress to deliver solutions
