If you are someone who moves fluidly from UI to the backend and rounds out the lap with a strong understanding of data, we’d like to talk to you!

Working with the Technical Architect and product owners, the Full Stack Developer will build and improve upon our current enterprise software infrastructure and the underlying technology stack and expand our systems’ capabilities through development of both internal and customer facing tools.

This position requires an individual who understands business functions and requirements and translate those to working applications to allow CME Corp to continue innovating in the healthcare logistics and supply chain space.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop high quality responsive web applications using the latest technology stack
  • Elicit and fulfill front-end and back-end requirements, starting with business needs and objectives, creating functional and technical specifications, and executing against a plan to launch and maintain applications
  • Develop and implement best practice standards to ensure efficient, clear, and reusable code, and work with external developers to ensure code standards / best practices are being implemented
  • Create and maintain high quality architecture and design documents including feature specifications, design specifications, flow diagrams, site maps, and process diagrams
  • Employ the latest technology to re-build legacy apps and determine best technology for new application initiatives
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and evaluate potential and develop prototype projects using new technologies
  • Lead, mentor and develop professional competencies of the junior staff

What You Should Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or additional years of applicable experience
  • Comfort with complex dependencies and requirements gathering/implementation
  • Advanced level of expertise with designing RESTful Web Applications and services (REST and/or SOAP preferred)
  • Developed applications or worked on platforms that use MVC framework
  • 5+ years of professional work experience with programming languages, such as Node.JS, PHP, or Meteor programming
  • 3+ years of experience with web applications using PHP, JavaScript, XML, HTML5 and CSS, with advanced expertise in JavaScript, and at least one modern JS framework (such as Angular, Node, React or Vue)
  • 5+ years of professional work experience with database systems, such as MySQL, MongoDB or any other
  • 3-5 years of experience developing on cloud platforms, such as Heroku, AWS, Firebase or other modern cloud platforms in a professional setting
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Experience mentoring junior software developers on development best practices

What Would Be Great to Have:

  • Architected & developed production ready webservices at an enterprise level
  • Developer certifications – MCSD, AWS Certified Developer or Salesforce certified Dev I & II
  • Actively contributing to Open Source software initiatives, hackathons or developer meetups
