Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Global IT Financial Analyst to play an integral role in Global IT in the areas of finance and business administration. Reporting to Sr. Director IT Business Operations s/he will also work to standardize and streamline processes in search of ways to enhance value and ensure IT financial transparency and efficiency. This individual will also be responsible for managing Global IT Allocations, direct finance support for Global Network, Global IT and GMECIT and working closely with Global Sourcing to execute global IT agreements. Finally, this individual will be a key contributor of the department by providing a strong professional presence, technical accounting and finance expertise with a business/operational focus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Direct Financial support and advisory for Global Network, Global IT and Global Maritime & Environmental Compliance IT including all Forecasting and Planning processes and analysis/explanation of actual results
  • Administering activities related to the IT Finance Work Group including coordination of data collection and analysis, communication and follow-up to team and preparing material for meetings
  • Support Sr. Director Business Operations in preparing ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and other support of key IT initiatives critical to Global CIO and/or CIO Council
  • Working closely in alignment with Global Sourcing to act as point person managing approvals for Requisitions and Purchase Orders for all Globally negotiated IT contacts
  • Manage all Global IT allocation ensuring the list and allocations schedules are updated and accurate, communicating changes as they occur to IT Finance leads at OPCOs
  • Assist in business administrative functions related to CIO Council and Global IT
  • Support Global Connectivity Planning and Optimization by: preparing allocation monthly, reviewing coding and processing global VSAT invoices, partnering on accounting / finance guidance, understanding changes in connectivity landscape and updating allocation to consider these changes
  • Serve as point of contact between Global IT organization and Corporate Planning and Accounting
  • No or very little travel likely

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field preferred
  • CPA, MBA or Master of Accounting preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial roles with some experience in planning and analysis
  • Excel and PowerBI proficient
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field preferred
  • Experience within Carnival Corporation a plus
  • If not, experience working with a Global decentralized organization with many stakeholders will be critical to the success of this individual
  • Proficiency in accounting, planning and forecasting as well as strong business acumen are essential

The range for this role’s base salary is $75,000 - $95,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
