Scope of Position: The Senior Instructor, Programming - Teams is a role within WinShape Teams, a ministry of the WinShape Foundation which exists to build strong, healthy, fulfilling teams that change the world around them. The primary responsibilities of this role are to have expert knowledge of Teams’ content, deliver instruction and training in assigned experiential programs, design team and leader developmental programs and embody WinShape Teams’ methodology and perspective. Additional responsibilities include the advising and leading of assigned internal trainings, assisting WinShape Foundation as requested through mentoring, coaching, training, writing content for blogs/e-books, and advising the Manager, Instructors - Teams on department strategy.

Reports to: Manager, Instructors – Teams
Responsibilities:
- Expertly communicate WinShape Teams content and its applications in a variety of contexts and diversity of audiences.
- Collaboratively design, deliver and facilitate engaging and impactful team and leader development programs to entry, mid, senior, and executive level leaders (approximately 55-65%)
- Create a caring program environment through professional service, genuine interactions, and cooperative collaboration with cross functional departments
- Coordinate with project manager to create and lead cross departmental collaborative teams in the instructional design and content curation of new programmatic offerings (approximately 10%)
- Advise and assist in the creation and delivery of program department trainings (approximately 10%)
- Facilitate impactful and dynamic team discussions while successfully adapting to changing team dynamics, conflict, high-impact decision making and/or lack of clear team and leader outcomes
- Communicate in a clear, concise and compelling manner in a variety of settings to dynamic audiences with minimal preparation
- Collaborate with the Client Relationships team to perform organizational and team needs assessments and advise on program content and design
- Review, advise and approve Lead Facilitator’s program activity plan
- Review program performance through providing and generating feedback during and post event in collaboration with Lead Facilitators in order to continually improve personal and team performance
- Coordinate and review the program plan cross-departmentally to ensure alignment of expectations.
- Administer Identity Profile Self-Awareness Tool (IPSAT) coaching to WinShape Foundation staff as requested
- Counsel Marketing on digital content as requested and write compelling blog/e-books on a variety of team, leadership and followership topics that increase engagement with WinShape Teams digital platform
- Advise, mentor and train staff on program delivery topics as requested
- Coordinate, design and plan work with assigned international partners
- Maintain cooperative and healthy team relationships and perform in a manner that implements the WST Purpose, Mission and Values in all aspects of the role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Leadership, Business, Learning Design, Education or related field (Masters preferred)
- 5+ years of work experience in training and development fields OR experience in positions of leadership
- Strong verbal communication, public speaking skills, and a confident, yet relatable presence with any type of group from international guests to the executive suite.
- Facilitate meetings following Teams’ meeting norms.
- Excellent written communication skills particularly for blogs and e-books
- Strong active listening and powerful question asking skills
- Emotional intelligence and authentic relatability
- Excellent time-management skills
- Prior experience with experiential learning
- Demonstrated skills of group management and facilitation
- High levels of interaction to coordinate with other programmatic positions
- High autonomy on assigned programs and individual tasks and personal pursuit of challenging assignments, stretch-goals, training, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to elevate performance and experience holistic growth.
- Assesses and solves a variety of minimally to moderately complex problems by evaluating and designing non-standard solutions
- Moderately Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and travel (approx. 15%)
