The Sr. Marketing Strategist is responsible for leading, creating, and implementing consumer and business-to-business marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns that increase affinity and inquiries regionally. This individual proposes new methodologies and approaches to meet business and marketing goals. Leads the creation and execution of marketing and PR plans associated with launching new and re-developed communities. In addition, the Sr. Marketing Strategist supports the Sr. Brand & Marketing Manager with developing and executing national marketing and PR plans.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support campaign creations. Propose and test new marketing and communication methodologies and approaches to increase affinity and sales. Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans.
- Develop, implement, and track national marketing programs the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager assigns. Analyze and report on the performance of campaigns, programs, and tools.
- Lead the planning and execution of marketing plans for new developments and re-developments.
- Collaborate with creative teams to create and execute brand, sales, and advertising collateral to support marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, the Sr. Marketing Sales Support Specialist, and the Sr. Brand & Marketing Manager to propose adjustments to marketing plans in reaction to competitive intelligence or market fluctuation.
- Manage projects on time and on budget, and exhibit effective decision-making around investment alternatives that mitigate risk and maximize return.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Integrated Marketing/Communications, Journalism, or related field required.
- Minimum of six (6) - eight (8) years working in a strategic marketing/advertising agency or corporate marketing department.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, strategic planning, and tactical execution.
- Thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
- Proficient in basic Microsoft applications Word, Excel, Power Point.
- May be required to travel up to 10% of the time on behalf of the Company.
- Travel time is subject to change based on business needs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle).
- Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
