Title:
Senior Mechanical Engineer, Drivetrain
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop e-drive and drivetrain prototyping and manufacturing technologies including material, the process of machining, heat-treating, electrical insulation, and assembly.
- Implement mechanical, electrical, and thermal design, analysis, assembling, testing.
- Conduct the design of experiments for product design validation and durability testing.
- Lead benchmarking study of cutting-edge technologies.
- Lead the problem-solving in prototyping, assembling, and testing.
- Proficient in assembling and testing procedures with analytical and physical assessments.
- Experience with the component and assembly of 3-D CAD models, and 2-D manufacturing drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-team engineers and technicians.
- Minimum 25% business travel time required.
Required Education and Experience
- M.S. degree with 3+ years or B.S. degree with 5+ years of working experience in relevant industry
- Proficiency in CAD modeling
- Great team player
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
