Sr. Geospatial Project Manager – Multiple office locations TX/AR
Halff is seeking to hire a Senior Geospatial Project Manager for one of our office locations in Richardson (TX) or Austin (TX) or Fort Worth (TX) or Houston (TX) or Fort Smith (AR). The chosen candidate will manage geospatial projects, providing direct oversight and hands-on instruction to geospatial technicians including terrestrial, mobile, aerial & UAS based lidar data collection, registration, extraction, and production of final deliverables.
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage a group of technicians throughout the project lifespan and work as part of a team in coordination with a Geospatial Team Leader.
Geospatial Project Manager Requirements:
- Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Self-starter, and able to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.
- Technical Experience with all phases of LiDAR data processing techniques.
Geospatial Project Manager Preferred Requirements:
- 2- or 4-year degree in Geography, Photogrammetry, Geomatics, or a related degree.
- ASPRS Certified Mapping Technician or Scientist Lidar or UAS.
- Ability to travel in the Texas Central region is a plus.
- Experience with LiDAR Mapping Systems (Mobile, Terrestrial, UAS) and relevant hardware.
- Experience with: MicroStation and/or Civil3D, Topo-DOT, TBC Mobile Mapping Module and other relevant Geospatial software.
