Position Summary

This is a full-time position with day-to-day duties that include providing project technical oversight, responding to client requests for proposals, developing new clients/opportunities, pursuing strategic initiatives, supervising and mentoring junior staff. Performing industrial hygiene work, including worker exposure assessments, health and safety audits, indoor air quality assessments, moisture intrusion and mold assessments, source and ambient air quality testing, and litigation support. Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

• Consults with clients, preparing, soliciting, and marketing proposals for billable work.
• Initiates and creates programs for clients to recognize, eliminate, and control occupational health hazards and diseases.
• Conducts evaluations of chemical, physical and biological hazards.
• Collects samples of dust, gases, vapors, and other potentially toxic materials for analysis.
• Investigates adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that may affect employee health, comfort, or efficiency.
• Creates and presents reports regarding the work environment.
• Recommends precautions and corrective actions that should be taken in response to identified hazards.
• Prepares proposals.
• Assists in the development of operating procedures and service lines.
• Contributes to industry presentations and publications.
• Provides the Accounting Department with all the necessary information to invoice for projects.
• Develops and mentors staff.
• Is a recognized leader within the department, company, and profession.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 5 or more years of professional experience in consulting services.
• 1 or more years of prior supervisory experience.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in core science (e.g., chemistry, biology, etc.) or equivalent, required.
• Advanced degrees and/or certifications (CIH, CSP, CAC) preferred.

Wage: Salary Range: $77,952 to $112,640
