The School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) has 42 academic faculty, 30 research faculty and post-docs, approximately 100 visiting scholars and Tech Temps, and 27 administrative and technical staff. Job Summary
The Correa-Baena group is looking for a research scientist to join our dynamic team to work on halide perovskite experimental research. Duties will include:
- Interfacing with COPE and helping organize a yearly workshop and other activities;
- Helping out with writing and coordination of large grant activities;
-Overseeing research activities in the Correa- Baena group;
- Working with graduate students on their individual projects, including paper writing;
- Helping write grant proposals in the Correa-Baena group;
- Lab management in the Correa-Baena group;
- Conducting independent research either on their own or in partnership with students.
Required Qualifications
This position vacancy is an open rank announcement. Research Scientist I
- Bachelor’s Degree Materials Science Engineering, or related area.
Research Scientist II
- A Master’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, or related area, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
- A Master’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, or related area, and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor’s degree, or
- A Doctoral degree.
