• 6 + years risk management or relevant work experience, including influential roles on large scale, complex, high profile programs. • 6 + years of experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management. • Experience defining program requirements and establishing/rolling out policies and procedures. • Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders, including advising and influence cross-functional teams. • Understanding of the emerging ESG regulatory environment (Proposed SEC Rule on Climate-Related Disclosures, CSRD/ESRS, EU taxonomy).

This role can be located in Arlington, Seattle, Boston, or New York.

Key job responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an ESG Risk Management Framework and Program

  • Develop and implement governance mechanisms (standard operating policies, training etc.) for the rollout of climate and ESG Strategic Risk assessments

  • Evaluate and develop ESG risk management reporting frameworks and regulations

  • Collaborate with business units and functions to establish compliance with ESG Strategic Risk Management procedures and policies

  • Partner with sustainability subject matter experts to evaluate existing and future operational risks and opportunities and translate into enterprise level insights and analysis

• Experience with establishing and rolling out an enterprise-wide risk management system. • Experience with conducting ESG risk assessments, in one or more of the following areas: biodiversity, water, air pollution and circular economy/waste. • Ability to deliver in ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in an agile environment. • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive agreement and alignment on complex topics. • Experience delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives. • Works effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
