Customer Support Specialist Description

Our client, in commercial specialty services, is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to add to their team in Des Plaines, IL. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts for service scheduling and customer support. Our client is looking for some with excellent customer service skills with at least two years of relevant experience. To be successful in this role, you must be able to maintain a solid level of attention to detail while multitasking and prioritizing competing tasks. Customer Support Specialist Responsibilities

• Contact clients using phone and email for service scheduling and customer support
• Schedule client work using company software system
• Generate renewal proposals based on customer need
• Book business with existing customers
• Turn over new business opportunities to Account Managers for new business/locations
• Ensure committed scheduled revenue occurs
• Advocate for customer needs as they align with company services
• Track, report, and analyze personal sales activity and opportunities
• Maintain or exceed profitability of services performed

Customer Support Specialist Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales support/administration or customer service experience required
• Detail oriented while multi-tasking and prioritizing competing tasks is required
• B2B service industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Word required
