Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Project/Systems Engineer within the Vehicle Core Electronics team, you will plan and direct development activities on assigned projects, while contributing to the development and integration of electronic features into harvesting products.

  • Responsible for executing system engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with internal (and/or external) teams to understand the scope of work, goals, deliverables, and timeline to ensure project success.
  • Define and maintain product level feature specifications, system layout, and documentation.
  • Work across multiple engineering disciplines and development teams to coordinate system definition, design, and integration.
  • Create project plans, timelines, and milestone achievements. Measure and monitor project performance. Create and review project status reports.
  • Ensures adherence to project plans and timelines to be met by internal and external resources. Initiates corrective actions as necessary as they relate to the project.
  • Define system level features and decompose those requirements into individual subsystem definitions and requirements.
  • Ensure product aligns with applicable standards.
  • Work with product verification and validation to ensure system and components perform as needed.
  • Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.

The salary for this position is $106,950 to $163,300 annually. ( Actual salary offered will vary and will be based on several factors including skills, experience and qualifications for the role.)
Qualifications:
  • Experienced Project/Systems Engineer with 5+ years of career experience, with Bachelor's degree. 3+ years experience with Master's degree. 1+ years experience with PHD. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of Project Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification
  • 2 years of Program Management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with CAN and/or LIN protocols and diagnostic tools
  • Understanding of programming languages
  • Experience in off highway automation and/or autonomy.
  • Strong experience with off highway vehicle electronics.
  • Strong experience with agricultural practices and operations
