With three offices across the Treasure Valley in Boise, Caldwell and Nampa, Ripley Doorn & Co, PLLC is seeking a CPA with a minimum of four+ (4+) years of experience to join our firm.

As a staff member, you will join a team of proactive, service oriented professionals and have the opportunity to work on a rich variety of projects and industries primarily involving tax, accounting and consulting work, with possible auditing exposure. You will receive an exceptional pay and benefits package, based on experience, which includes additional compensation for overtime hours and summer Friday afternoons off. A hybrid or flex work schedule will be considered for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex corporate, partnership, individual and trust tax returns
  • Review and prepare financial statements for reviews and compilations
  • Review business, individual and trust returns prepared by associate staff
  • Provide timely and high-quality services exceeding client expectations
  • Work with staff and principals to provide client solutions to tax and related issues
  • Assistance with audit engagements

Job Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work and communicate professionally with other staff and superiors
  • Ability to consider a client’s individual situation and recognize opportunities and problems
  • Ability to supervise and review the work of others
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting, including GAAP
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset
  • Creativity and resourcefulness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation
  • 4+ Years public accounting experience
