Job Summary and Qualifications

As Service Coordinator for the Engineering department at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both an expert in your field and a caregiver, providing important services for our patients and staff. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. You will joining an impressive team that prides themselves on keeping our hospital functioning well and looking its best. In this role:

• You will function as the office manager of the Engineering department.
• You will prepare and manage documentation required by State, Federal, and Joint Commission to ensure the facility is compliant with those entities and is in a state of readiness for accreditation and certification purposes.
• You will have oversight and direct responsibility of completion of formal reports, correspondence, and statistical reports.
• You will ensure that structure, processes, and services are in place to support members of the Engineering department in the completion of duties..
• You will retain records of hospital service contracts, preventative maintenance, service, and repair.
• You will assist in developing and maintaining facility-wide safety manual and policy/procedures, and the department’s staff schedule, trainings, and performance evaluations.
• You will assist in organizing and providing support for department and facility meetings.
• You will process staff timecards and ensure associated paperwork is completed and sent to the correct department for processing.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative or office management experience required.
• Microsoft Office Excel and Word experience.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
