GLO Resources is currently hiring for a Metal Sheeting Installer to work in Baton Rouge, LA. The pay rate starts out at $22 per hour depending on experience. Work weeks are typically 4-10s or 5-10s. Saturday day work is possible depending on work week weather. All day shifts, rarely night work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Positive attitude and capable of working on a 3-12 man crew
- Capable of installing metal siding and roofing
- Will be responsible of connecting steel
- Will be responsible for installing insulation.
- Capable of installing trim, gutters, downspouts.
- Proficient in operating a man lifts, scissor lifts and using fall protection systems.
- Will be expected to work from scaffolds, needs to have experience.
- Can handle physical construction work activities in Louisiana climate.
Qualifications:
- Must know the difference between Standing Seam Roof and an R-Panel Roof.
- Caple of working safely and efficiently
- Valid Driver license
- OSHIA BASIC
- Capable of getting a TWIC card
- Capable of passing site specific orientations as they arise for facilities.
- Has a drive to show up on time and work full shifts, along with representing company in a professional manor.
